A Victorian house that needed general renovation and expansion.
The project included planning, construction and general renovation and, of course, the design and styling of the entire house. The family, numbering 5 people, asked for a bright and modern house that would contain work areas, a utility room and an open space that includes a large kitchen, dining area and family corner.
In a joint decision with the customers, we have preserved some of the original features of the house like the tiles floor in the entrance and the cornice works in the ceiling which preserves the Victorian charm and creates an interesting combination of old and new.
Muswell Hill House
This project involved a light renovation and complete interior styling of the ground floor for a young family. Originally, the space felt long, dark and corridor-like, with little separation between the kitchen, dining and family areas.
The design transformed it into three cosy and inviting zones, each with its own character while still feeling connected. The wooden floors were sanded and lightened, and a mix of soft neutrals and stronger accent colours was used to define each area and create a greater sense of warmth and intimacy. Designer furniture, bespoke pieces, layered lighting, textiles, artwork and accessories were carefully selected to reflect the owners’ love of colour and creativity.
The result is a bright, warm and welcoming family home with three distinct yet connected living spaces.

TESTIMONIALS
Tamar helped us design and decorate the ground floor in our new home. Our goal was to have a home that felt light, warm, and sophisticated, without being heavy or busy—and she absolutely delivered. She took our tastes and preferences (modern, Nordic, boho, Mediterranean ) and combined them beautifully. The space is now stylish yet perfect for relaxing and entertaining, and it truly feels like us. Highly recommend!
